Roderick Besseling is a data and information management leader specialising in enterprise information architecture, metadata governance, and the design of systems that enhance data discoverability and interoperability. With over a decade of experience across humanitarian, development, and international organisations, he has led multidisciplinary teams in delivering strategic data initiatives, modernising analytics capabilities, and shaping evidence‑driven decision-making cultures. Currently serving as the Data and Information Management Adviser at the Pacific Community (SPC), Roderick works at the intersection of technology, design, and governance—building regional capability, strengthening data ecosystems, and advising senior leaders on ethical and sustainable data practices.
